or maybe we could focus more on how felicia responded correctly to being called out instead of making sure oppressed people are polite enough when they’re calling people out on their bigotry
we could also give Felicia the benefit of the doubt in that she simply didn’t immediately understand that her wording could be harmful instead of calling her a bigot; her quick and kind response proves that she is not. vilifying people is not the way to induce change. patience and kindness is.
